Didn't. Know what I was looking. Now is this. You are taking part in writing the history of the Jewish people in Iowa, right? I don't believe that the Jewish people select the place to a certain degree. Yes, But it isn't dead there. It isn't their place we find in Homesh. When Jacob sent Joseph to visit the brothers, he said. It says the Bible puts in his hand from the valley of Hebron. Hebron. The demoralised and the insulted. Sharon was on the mountain. So why does the Bible say he sent him from the valley of Hebron? Hebron was a mountain because when the 12 tribes, the 12 leaders of the tribe, went to speak out of the land, they went to the south and went up, up to Hebron. Heaven was up with that. And here we see Jacob sent his son G. Joseph. From the valley of. There was a valley, and if any. Any mountain has a dam. It should have said the dam of the. Of the hills of Napa Valley. They didn't have a valley, you see. So therefore the Bible is interpreted by the rabbis that this is not what Jacob wanted. God wanted it. What is? When the valley's from the dead. The valley is always in the dead. Deep, right? There is a deep meaning. Why? Joseph was sent to visit his brothers. Everybody knew that the brothers hated him and they would kill him. Why should Jacob send him? He knew that it was far away. He found him in the city of Shechem. It's Nablus nowadays, and it's very far from Hebron and expelled from the party, and the children respected father. They wouldn't kill him, but it would be close to his father's residence, and very far. Away. He should realize that this was a dangerous trip. But it was meant by God. God told him, send him there. It isn't that God told him, but he was urged from an urgent side to send him there. Why? Because God offered to Abraham that his children will inherit the land of Israel, but before they have to be slaves in a strange land. So if Joseph wouldn't be there, he wouldn't come first to become the leader of Egypt, and then his brothers should come. And his father, they would never be in Egypt. But God had. God has to fulfill the deal with Abraham. That's a deep thought. Otherwise, Jacob and his children would be chained in chains and taken to Egypt. But because God loved Jacob and his family, they should come as princes there. That's the deep. The deep meaning of his coming. Sending that God sent them. Now I feel that everyone, everyone. If a person believes in that, he can see in all the actions he does, that it is made by God. I mean, you ask me, why did I come to Sioux City? What for? I really didn't want to come to the city. I really hated to be a rabbi here in this country and married me. My entire desire was to be Hiroshi Nagashima and therefore the rabbi where I studied in Lithuania. I had a great influence in Chicago. Chicago had a president, Rabbi Silber. He was a rabbi. He was a wonderful guy, a very liberal person. My mother and his shoe was the mother issue. He is orthodox, but it was his mother. So he didn't have a women's place upstairs then. But it was beautiful. Like in a in a in a movie theater. The carpet. The carpet. The same as the walls. It wasn't very high. It was higher than ours. But then when I came, I didn't understand why you heard all the time here. He called me up. He wants me to talk in his synagogue. I didn't understand why he wants me to talk to him. I found out why. Saturday morning we had a teacher here, Mrs. Miller. Rabbi and Mrs. Miller. You know them? She was in Chicago. She's alive. Her husband died and I spoke there in the morning. It was about 10 or 15 minutes and everybody was there and was so happy. I had a long beard. I wanted to check it. That's the way we were used to be in Europe. Then he asked me I should come in the middle time and speak again. There was. The show was packed. Everybody agreed. Rabbi is here and let us come. I spoke Yiddish, I couldn't say anything in English. So. And after that, he invited me and my wife Sharon to his house. And he told me one night. Why did I invite you? He gave me money for speaking, and I didn't want to take it. He said everybody who would speak would get money from him. You are agreed. You have money. You need money. So. So when I got more from him than I got from Spain. He told me that one of his neighbor called him up long distance from Lithuania and told him that I am coming to America, and he should see that he should become a teacher in the rabbinical seminary. So therefore, I invited to hear how you explain your thoughts to people. You are going to be a teacher. I wanted to be confirmed that you are good, and I was a teacher all my life. There came a professor from Vienna visiting Lithuania, and he made speeches in the in the university. So I had many people who liked me and they knew him. They made an appointment to check on me. He said, tell your wife on a paper, and she shall tell my mouth. My wife was in this country. They didn't prolong her passport because they thought Lithuania will be at war. But I want to say is, while was traveling on the ship, my boys came to me. And that's the reason Rabbi Silverman invited me to talk. I could talk already. There was a lot of trouble. I did want to tell you the rest. It concerns my clothes, but I got my horses back. I found out that the meat either. And I went to Rochester. By night. How did I go to Rochester? I went to all the doctors. After I spoke, I became hoarse in Chicago. So I went to the doctors and did the rabbi. Silver was interested. I shall get well because we have a chance to be in Missouri. So he recommended the doctors, and all the doctors are fine. And one doctor, the doctor said, I don't know. I don't know much. He recommended another doctor. Finally, the doctor told me the truth. Here in Chicago, nobody knows about throat. Especially, you need to know the course that makes it. I told him, I smoke, all of us smoke, but it doesn't affect that to be able to talk. So one doctor that told me the truth. Go to Rochester, Minnesota. I went to Rochester and then the Rochester, and my wife went with me. I couldn't talk English. As soon as he hooked, he said, you have a growth, huh? I'll take out right away. So I was excited as a surprise. So I said to him through my wife, she was the interpreter that I am excited and I feel in the old country, we used to rely upon all the doctors. And he was a young doctor about 30. Now, I learned that sometimes younger doctor much better than older. But at that time I didn't know. So he went. So he said he will bring in another actor who is honoring him. According to the actor, about 45 or 50, I would say still not old enough. Old enough. But he looked as he left and he looked and he said, he's right. That's the only thing I said, no, I'm sorry, I can't today, I am excited. So then the day after tomorrow, tomorrow, he wanted to put me in his room to take out in his room. Oh yeah. But when I said when I decided tomorrow, he said if someone will take you to the hospital, they found out my tonsils. Oh, I have tonsils. Trouble too. So we will take out the tonsils. I told him that my doctor in Lithuania, he was a great doctor, a Jew. He studied before to. He was a great man when he was a doctor. Did they name the city that he lived in? Lithuanians. They had to do that to respect him. They named his city and his name. Doctor. Mayor. His name was mayor. Wow. And he was a Jew. They hated Jews. As I told you before, he was the chairman of all the doctors because they had to respect him. He studied till about 3 or 4:00 in the morning. Every day. Every night? I should say a great man. He told me whenever I complained about my my tonsils, he said God created tonsils. We need them badly. They have a purpose. And whenever a doctor would suggest to take out, you have to find out whether they are poisonous or not. If they are not poisonous, don't take them out. The doctors don't know what they say. God knows better. So I told him. My doctor in Lithuania told me not to take out. He said yes. Never. He said, unless it is poisonous or he was a great doctor, he told me. I told him, I know he's a great actor. He used to come from Germany to visit to to have a visit with him. He was a very great man. And he said, my dancers are poisonous. The rabbi doesn't come. He may come back. So I don't get upset. I mean, he came back. That's true. I didn't get a job anyway. So that is a sign. You have to respect your rabbi and he will bless you. Bless. Bless the people. So he's supposed to be a rabbi. And I used to be the rabbi. That's true. Anyway, I found him. He's not allowed to pronounce the Priestly Blessing. And the Gemara tells us here in this Gomorrah, really? That God said, maybe people will ask how this fellow he is going to bless me. He does not have what I know. So don't say that I am the one behind the Queen. When he blesses, I bless. So therefore, don't look for the criticism about the Queen. But conservative and reform, they call it the one you call the Illuminati. That's the one I want to see. They eliminated the Priestly Blessing. Only the rabbi is officiating at a wedding. He pronounces the Priestly Blessing. Although according to the law here in the Bible, in the Bible it was the same. Because you wouldn't understand the Bible a word without this book. Why? This is the oral law. And if you have interpretation of the oral law, we wouldn't have written the Bible, says Jesus. What is a mezuzah? What is made of? What does it mean to say you have Jesus? What is that you have? What is that? I mean, you can, but how do you make a case? For what? You wouldn't know anything. That's right. Now, Chavez, you have come to observe Chavez, not do any work. So what did they do all the time? They couldn't play cards, so they studied day and night. Moses was in heaven and whenever he was in heaven, he came back four times. He tells us he taught the people the same subject four times You first. Aaron and his children. They were the greatest scholars. And then the second time, from the elders, they were the high priest, as the high priest, the Supreme court, the Jewish people had the first one, Supreme Court, you know, that nobody else had a Supreme Court. The Jewish people had how many members? And the Jewish Supreme Court, you went from 70 to 71. You have only 13. And I thought that was maybe dead, you know.
